What we offer

Traditionally a fund’s financial statements and income tax return are prepared on an annual basis which has satisfactorily met past compliance needs.  With new superannuation changes which took effect on 1st July 2017, Trustees will need to manage their funds more closely to allow them to properly effect strategies on a timely basis and report certain events as required by the ATO as they occur (eg. Commencing or commuting a pension).

Relying on once a year processing may mean you miss opportunities to utilise a strategy specifically suited to your circumstances or fail to meet a compliance requirement.

Super Services achieves this with an accounting platform that uses electronic data feeds brought in from over 120 banks, stockbrokers, wraps, foreign markets, currencies and employer contributions, with automatic daily updates of dividends, dividend reinvestments, corporate actions, daily balance reconciliations of cash and holdings.

Experienced onshore administrators analyse transactions on a monthly basis to identify possible strategies available to members and act quickly on potential issues for the members and or fund.

Trustees can access our portal on their personal computer or smartphone app to view their:

  •  Current fund value
  • Current and previous year contributions
  • Fund performance
  • Required and actual pension payments in a year
  • Bank transactions
  • Investment and accounting reports

Our service includes all ethical letters and collection of existing Fund documentation, prior year accounts etc.  Once this documentation is received for each client, we will complete a document health check and review trust deeds, pensions and binding death benefit nominations and advise if any updates are required.

Super Services has a scale of fees based on the number of assets held by a fund at the start of a year with fixed fees for other ancillary services like Actuarial Certificates, Pension Commencement or Commutations, Rollover Documentation, Lump Sum Withdrawals, Trust Deed Updates etc.

Fees are paid on a monthly basis in the year of processing.  Eg. 17-18 financial year will be billed monthly from July 2017 to June 2018.  Ancillary services are invoiced when the service is provided. (eg. Pension Establishment or Commutation).
